RoboExpo

Londonderry High School Robotics - FRC Team 1058 - PVC Pirates

RoboExpo is an all-encompassing public outreach effort showcasing FIRST and the programs it has to offer. Utilizing the high-traffic nature of a shopping mall, teams from all four FIRST programs demonstrate their robots to gain the attention and excitement of shoppers, and then engage spectators in discussion about FIRST, and how it can play a role in inspiring students to pursue careers in science and technology.

Interactive

RoboExpo provides an opportunity for the public to engage with local FIRST teams in a way that is not usually possible. This level of interaction is essential in developing strong community bonds that will advance STEM ideals.

Engaging

RoboExpo provides a platform for engaging in one on one conversations between the public and local team members. A mall event has the distinct advantage of being easily accessible to a large number of people who may not have heard of FIRST before.

Informative

RoboExpo allows the public to get information about local teams and events. Answering the constant question of "How do I or my child get involved?"

All-encompassing

The unique experience of having many FIRST programs represented allows people of all ages to get information for immediate involvement opportunities.
